Most small businesses don’t. What you actually need is someone reliable who knows your website and can take care of updates without a fresh briefing every time — that’s exactly what my care and management plans are for.
That’s completely fine — I can review most existing websites, starting with a website health check, and take over hosting, maintenance and ongoing support where suitable.
More often than most people expect — security patches and software updates should happen monthly at minimum, while content (pages, blog posts, offers) should stay current with your business. If it’s been a while since anything changed, it’s a good sign a health check is worthwhile.
If your site is outdated, slow, disorganised and confusing to navigate, or just doesn’t represent your business anymore, that’s a refresh conversation. If it’s solid but needs regular care and small ongoing changes, a management plan is the better fit. Not sure which you need? Just ask — that’s what the health check is for.
